By 1879, this western town boasted a population of ten thousand and was second to none for wickedness, bad men and "the worst climate indoors." | Only about five percent of the original buildings remain; but in this beautiful state of "arrested decay", Bodie offers an unlimited array of black & white images. Bodie is literally a ghost of it former self - fading slowly back to Nature. |
